Swarovski Crystals

Swarovski Crystals

he holidays are a time for sparkle.  That sparkle can be found in the decorations of the season, the place settings at the holiday dinner table and especially in the jewelry you wear.  One of the best ways to add sparkle to jewelry is utilizing Swarovski Crystals.

Now a little history about Swarovski...  In 1891 Daniel Swarovski (born Daniel Swartz) invented an electric crystal cutting machine that created more precise and uniform crystals.  His vision was to create "a diamond for everyone" and the beauty of these crystals are just that.  In the 1920's designer dresses were dripping with beads and Swarovski Crystals.  Then in the 1950's the Aurora Borealis, or "AB" effect was developed which gives the surface a rainbow appearance.  To create this effect, Swarovski adds a metallic chemical coating to some of their crystals.

No matter what shape, size or effect of Swarovski Crystal used in our jewelry designs, it's like getting sparkling diamonds and gems. Since the holidays are fast approaching, we are busy creating sparkling designs utilizing these crystals.  One such design is the recently added Clear & Green Swarovski Necklace w/ Crystal Pendant and matching earrings.

We have several other designs in the works, one of which is a lovely single strand necklace with nine cascading strands of Aurora Borealis clear crystals with an injection of dark indigo crystals and a matching pair of earrings as well.

Another is a Swarovski pearl & red crystal necklace, also with a matching pair of earrings.

These designs will be making their debut very soon.
